Hello sweethearts 🙂 I know I have been gone for a while, so much has happened! I broke my phone :'(, moved back into my moms and so much more! But I promise I am back now 😀 So I recently went out over the weekend, and really wanted to try something different to my usual gold/bronze looks and created this little makeup look. Whilst playing around with my different palettes, I created this and was pleasantly surprised.  I really really liked it, thought it really made my brown eyes pop and just thought it was really pretty and colourful without being too over powering, as I struggle with too much colour. Obviously other colours could be used with this look, as afterwards I did create this again but with green and golds. Above is a few closeups of the eyemakeup as well as an over all photo after I finished everything else. As always I will list the product details below, and any questions don’t hesitate to leave a comment! Thank you! xoxoxo

Chanel foundation review!

IMG_0260
Hello sweeties!
So I recently purchased the Chanel Perfection Lumiere foundation, after hearing mixed reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect from it! Instantly I fell in love with it, it was super matte, medium coverage and didn’t make me break out. I wouldn’t recommend this foundation if your skin is more dry, but for combination, normal and oily skin this is perfect. In order to receive fuller coverage you do have to build it up, but it just looks amazing. After using it for a few weeks now, I have just fell more and more in love. This foundation is a bit more pricey, being £36, but it truly worth it for how flawless it makes your skin! The image above is my skin with just my BH cosmetics colour correcting palette, and the Chanel foundation. As always thank you for viewing and let me know what anyone else thinks of this foundation! Xoxoxo

Makeup revolution awesome metal eyeshadows

Hello lovelies! So sorry that I haven’t posted anything in absolutely ages! I’ve just been so busy with university and birthday planning, but I recently picked up these two eyeshadows from makeup revolution! I picked up Rose gold and Purely Platinum, both of these eyeshadows have a jelly like feel to them, and they come with a mixing tray and eyeshadow primer. I originally used the eyeshadow without the primer just to see how intense it was, and if it was really needed. It didn’t give much of a colour but gave a gorgeous glitter effect on my eyelids, that carried on throughout any eyeshadow that I put on top. I have to say I was really impressed with these little eyeshadows, I only wish that they had more colours! They’re £5 as well which I think is so cheap for the quality of the product, I absolutely love them! Thank you for reading xoxox

All about blush!

Hello sweeties! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and are looking forward to new year! I got so much for Christmas, I was well and truly spoilt, but some of my favourite presents that I got were my blushes! I absolutely adore blush, so these presents were amazing! Here are some of the favourites that I got:

Estée Lauder Pure Colour Blush – Peach Passion

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/c82/77153774/files/2014/12/img_4534.jpg
I absolutely adore this blush! It’s a soft shimmery peach which makes you look lovely and glowing. The packaging is perfect, gorgeous gold with the Estée Lauder logo and I just love it!

Too faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush – Something About Berry

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/c82/77153774/files/2014/12/img_4537.jpg

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/c82/77153774/files/2014/12/img_4536.jpg
These blushes are so adorable and really pigmented! They’ve got a gorgeous soft shimmer about them, you have to use very little with these blushes as they’re so pigmented.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette – Sugar and Spice

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/c82/77153774/files/2014/12/img_4535.jpg
I LOVE this palette! Each blush is so pigmented, it’s sleek black packaging looks so professional, and I just love it! This one is mainly pinks and Browns, with a highlighter and a shimmery pink blush, the others are matte. I love how this palette offers such a variety of shades and is only £6! Absolute bargain!

Thank you for viewing, lots of love! Xxxxxx

Cleaning my brushes

Unfortunately there is a downside to having loads of makeup brushes, as much as I love them, I hate cleaning them! It takes me a good 20 minutes and always makes my hands go numb but it needs to be done! I shouldn’t clean my brushes half as much as I should, but it should be done regularly as it can lead to bad skin and bacteria loveeeeeeee to fester in makeup brushes! To clean my brushes I use a mixture of olive oil and antibacterial washing up liquid!

/home/wpcom/public_html/wp-content/blogs.dir/c82/77153774/files/2014/12/img_4469.jpg
I used pink grapefruit washing up liquid which makes them smell amazing! I simply wet my makeup brushes one by one, swirl them round into the mixture, then swirl the brush round on my hand until all the makeup has been cleaned off it! You the rinse them off, pinch them back into shape and leave to dry! This will leave them silky soft and squeaky clean! Thanks for viewing and happy brush cleaning xoxox
